How working with us actually works

No mystery, no surprise invoices, and no becoming your own project manager. Every stage, start to finish, and exactly what we need from you at each one.

Four stages, no guesswork

Stage 01

Work out what you actually need

It starts with a conversation about the business: what is working, what is not, and what is realistic right now. If you are not sure what you need, that is the normal starting point.

Your part: about fifteen minutes on your business. Nothing is committed at this stage.

Stage 02

Get the price in writing

Before any work begins you get a proposal setting out the final price, what is included, the timeline and how billing works. Nothing starts until you accept it.

Your part: read it and ask whatever you want. There is no deadline on your answer.

Stage 03

We do the work

We build, and you see it come together as we go rather than waiting for one big reveal at the end.

Your part: feedback when we ask for it, plus any content or account access we need. We can write the content, use what you have, or both.

Stage 04

It keeps running

On ongoing work you get a set communication process, so you are never chasing an email to find out what happened this month.

Your part: tell us when something changes in the business. That is genuinely it.

Three ways of working together

The process above is the same whichever of these you land on, and starting one way does not lock you out of the others later.

A bundle

A fixed package for one specific job, such as getting online, getting found on Google, or getting set up to take payments. Everything included is listed up front, so the scope is settled before anything starts.

A monthly plan

Ongoing work against a set number of hours each month. Every service is available at every level, so the hours decide how much gets done rather than what you are allowed to ask for.

Something custom

If none of it fits neatly, we put together a plan around exactly what you need and nothing you do not. From there the process runs the same way.

When you actually pay

One-time projects

Under $500 is paid in full before work begins. $500 and over starts with a 50% deposit and the balance is due as agreed. That deposit is non-refundable once work has started.

Ongoing work

Billed monthly at the start of each cycle. You can cancel at any time, and it takes effect at the end of the cycle you have already paid for.

Third-party costs

Ad spend, hosting, domains, licences, plugins, stock images and printing sit outside our fee. They are listed in your proposal rather than sprung on an invoice later.

Payments run through Square. Prices shown across the site are starting prices. Your proposal sets the final one before you commit to anything.

What you are agreeing to

No long-term contract

Ongoing work can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the cycle you have paid for.

You own the work

Once a project is paid in full, the final deliverables are yours: the site, the graphics, the materials.

Timelines depend on both of us

Dates are estimates. When something is waiting on content or a decision from you, the clock pauses there.

Confidential both ways

Non-public information about your business stays private.

No promises about results

Nobody honest guarantees rankings or sales. We commit to the work getting done, consistently.

One agreement, nothing else

Your proposal plus our terms is the whole thing. There is no second contract to sign.

We sometimes show finished work in our portfolio. Tell us if you would rather we did not. The full detail lives in our Terms of Service.

Any questions before you start?

If something here is unclear, ask. Nothing is committed until the price is in writing and you have said yes to it.
